About Me

HI! My name is Hosana and I’m a sophomore Peace and Conflict Studies and Biblical and Religious Studies student at Messiah College! I’m from the northernmost island of Japan, Hokkaido. I love sushi and potato. I also love SNOW and skiing! I love to read nonfiction (related to war & peace, reconciliation, justice, etc.) and biography (I love missionary biographies!) and listen to relaxing, piano music. I picked Messiah College because it’s in Pennsylvania. Ever since I watched The Little House on Prairie and learned about Pilgrims back in elementary school, I have always wanted to live like them, or at least, visit the area they were around. Well, as long as I’m taking a Problem Solving with Computers which I’m working on right now, I’m not living like them. This semester, though, my laptop broke which made me make a trip to library or computer lab from my cozy dorm. Perhaps a  good start for a good-old-day American lifestyle I dreamed of?
